Rural Georgia Rottie Animal Rescue Inc. believes that one day we will become a no-kill nation. We hope to end pet overpopulation, and stop the senseless destruction of helpless lives. The focus is to rescue discarded animals in high kill shelters…our goal is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home as many unwanted animals as we conceivably can, saving one life at a time.

We cannot save them all, but we can make a difference in the lives of those we do save.

We are not a breed specific rescue, but, do love the breed. We have

a variety of rescues. So, please take time and look through

what we have and if you can find it in your heart, give one

a forever home.

We are a two person team, who started rescuing animals which otherwise were left abandoned to die alone. We are licensed through the State of Georgia Department of Agriculture. We also go to high kill shelters and rescue animals just before they are due to be euthanized; we try to give any potential adopter the option to save a life first. We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals who otherwise would have been given an untimely death. All of our rescued animals are fully vetted including spay/neuter, UTD on vaccinations, & canines are currently on a Heartgard regimen prior to adoption. We do not operate a "shelter". We rescue into a home environment. Our goal is to eliminate unnecessary euthanasia! Did you know the average hold time for an animal in Georgia's high kill shelters is only 3 to 7 days? Please adopt! Do NOT buy! I also want to note, even though we are a rescue, we do not accept any and all animals. Our primary objective is to rescue from high kill shelters in Georgia. If your animal is an owner surrender, or already in a rescue, then more than likely we are not interested in it. That animal is "safe" and not on death row. We are overwhelmed with animals right now. Not only do we have rescues, but we also have our OWN furbabies. If you are in need of surrendering an animal, please check with your local animal control, shelters, or rescue groups. We are getting VERY full and cannot accept in any strays or unwanted dogs. If you have a Rottweiler you are looking to surrender, a donation of $200 must be made, and the animal must be current on vaccinations and altered.
